The Victorian Government has committed to taking active steps to promote gender equality within publicly funded entities.
The Gender Equality Bill proposes new obligations on the Victorian public sector to plan and report on gender equality. In our submission to the draft exposure bill, YACVic highlights the importance of considering opportunities and conditions for younger staff, and the role of the community services sector in delivering a more equitable community.
