A professional advocate is someone whose job it is to advocate for other people.  

An advocate can come to your NDIS planning meeting with you or help you if you are not happy with your NDIS plan and the supports you get. 

An advocate can help you any time you are being treated unfairly and need support. 

You can go to an An organisation that has advocates who can help you speak up and make sure you are being treated fairly. Example: YDAS is an advocacy service.advocacy service like YDAS to get free support.
