The launch of YACVic’s Strategic Plan (2025-28) and the revised edition of the Code of Ethical Practice for the Victorian Youth Sector. Hear from Mary Nega (YACVic CEO), Minister for Youth Natalie Suleyman, Commissioner for Aboriginal Children and Young People in Victoria and Acting Principal Commissioner for Children and Young People Meena Singh, and members of the Youth Co-Design and Steering Committee for the revised Code.  

You’ll also hear from young people and workers about their work on the revised edition of the Code, and how it informs our practice. The in-person event  will also include lunch and a one-hour interactive workshop taken from our newly revised Navigating the Grey: Ethical Practice with young people training.  

Who: The whole youth sector, including young people, youth workers and anyone who works with young people.  

Where: The Multicultural Hub (Level 1, 506 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000) (the morning will be offered as a hybrid event)

Attending in person: Hear from our speakers in the morning, and stay for an afternoon of networking and capacity building for youth workers. This includes catered lunch, a copy of the fully revised Code and a free Code poster for your youth space.  

Attending online: Join online for the morning launch of YACVic’s Strategic Plan (2025-28) and the revised edition of the Code of Ethical Practice.
