The Opportunity
We believe young people are experts in their own lives and their own mental health.
YACVic has begun a new project to hear directly from young people and community members in rural and regional areas about mental health, their experiences and ideas for a better future.
This project will include the development of a new resource to support young people to speak about mental health as well as statewide and local events delivered by young facilitators in partnership with local communities.
With 75% of all symptoms of mental-ill health emerging before the age of 25, young people's lived experience and expertise should be taken seriously.
That's why we’re looking for young people aged 12–25 to join our working group that will lead the project and make the important decisions about what we do next!
If you are interested apply here!
