Who is this for?
Rural and regional young people aged 12-25.
The opportunity
In this group, you will:
- Represent the views and experiences of the rural youth sector and help promote stronger policy, service delivery and support for young people in rural and regional communities.
- Provide a statewide voice for rural and regional young people and the youth sector
- Provide advice to YACVic to inform the implementation of the Rural Presence Project (RPP).
You will serve a one year term from June 2026 - June 2027, with members only allowed to serve a maximum of two consecutive terms.
The group will meet quarterly; a minimum of one meeting will be held in person at a rural location. The rest will be online via Zoom.
YACVic Rural team will support travel and accommodation needs and any out-of-pocket expenses associated with meeting attendance of any members for in-person meetings where needed.
Expressions of Interest must be received by Wednesday 15th April 2026.
