YACVic is committed to Actively involving young people in decision-making processes.youth participation, so we have many opportunities for young people aged 12-25 to be involved in our work.

For early bird information as well as some exclusive opportunities, sign up to be a YACVic Young Member (it's free!). We also share a range of opportunities from YACVic and other organisations around Victoria in our monthly newsletters.

Be a job interview panellist

Ever wondered what goes on on the other side of a job recruitment process? Want to learn more about inclusive recruitment practices?

Every time YACVic interviews for a job, we require at least one person on the panel to be a young person (aged 12-25). We are looking for our next group of Young Members to form our Help Recruit (HR) team and recruit the best staff possible for YACVic!

Tell the government your thoughts on vaping controls

The Victorian Government is holding an Inquiry into vaping and tobacco controls to understand the impact of vaping, how effective current restrictions are, and what reform is needed to reduce the harms of vaping.

YACVic and the Alcohol and Drug Foundation (ADF) are preparing a submission which you can contribute to through our survey, or follow our tips to make your own submission.

Free qualification pathways for young people (rural and regional)

If you’re a young person in regional and rural areas who wants to get involved in disaster recovery, you can have your emergency management qualification paid for and training organised by us!

You can develop new skills and join a team of young people leading the way in disaster risk, resilience and recovery.
