What to expect

Join us at our Rural Youth Awards Ceremony to come celebrate the incredible work of young people and the youth sector and the important work we play in rural and regional communities at the stunning Bendigo Bank Theatre from 4-6pm on Tuesday 13 December.

Youth workers are also invited to register for Youth Participation 101 training earlier in the day from 11 AM - 3 PM, also at the Bendigo Bank Theatre.

Catering and drinks will be provided, as well as live entertainment.

The ceremony will feature all of the finalists and announce the award winners across these categories:

  • Young person leading change in rural or regional Victoria
  • Youth Worker making a difference in rural or regional Victoria
  • Outstanding youth projects or programs in rural or regional Victoria
  • Outstanding youth participation in education, training or employment
  • Outstanding youth participation in health, well-being or mental health

There will be an additional Young People’s Choice Award voted on by YACVic's young members.

Winners will receive a $1000 donation or gift.

This event is open to young people, the youth sector and anyone connected to rural and regional young people.
