Are you a young person aged 12 – 17 living in Victoria?

Are you keen to share why you currently play on a sports team, have stopped playing, or have never been part of one?

Are you passionate about sports being safe, fun spaces where everyone belongs?

Background

Vic Sport and Youth Affairs Council Victoria (YACVic) have gotten together to create two workshops to understand why young people are dropping out of sport and how we can improve these spaces so that young people keep playing sport.

In the workshops, you will:

  • share your ideas on ways we can make sports safer and more fun
  • help us design an ideal sporting environment
  • share your experience of sports or why you've never joined one before!

Our aim

We are aiming to hear young people's thoughts and ideas on ways to make sports more engaging. We'll take this feedback to sports like tennis, basketball and footy and support them to make the changes you want to see.

We will explore:

  • why you joined or didn’t join a sport
