We're excited to invite you to the Youth Affairs Council Victoria (YACVic) Rural Youth Awards, a youth-led initiative focused on showcasing and celebrating the amazing work of young people and youth sector professionals from rural and regional Victoria.

Check out the full awards information over on YACVic Rural's page.

As a core agency of YACVic, YACVic Rural is charged with expanding YACVic’s state-wide advocacy for young people in regional communities and the rural youth sector. One way YACVic Rural does this is by celebrating young people and promoting positive stories of young people and youth workers exclusively from rural and regional Victoria.

The awards will shine a spotlight on rural and regional Victoria and celebrate the programs and the people (both young and old) who are working to promote better outcomes for young people in rural and regional Victoria.

The awards will highlight the best models for effective youth engagement and participation currently taking place in regional Victoria. They will recognise the most hard working and responsive youth workers making a difference in rural communities, and celebrate the achievements and contribution to community made by some of regional Victoria’s most talented young people.
