The Victorian Government is setting up a Royal Commission into Mental Health. This is a huge opportunity for young people and youth support services to have their say about how mental health support is delivered in Victoria. It’s also a chance to shape people’s attitudes towards mental health.

Right now, we have a chance to help shape the Terms of Reference for the Royal Commission.

Terms of Reference decide things like:

  • How the Royal Commission will go about engaging with the community, including young people.
  • Which mental health issues the Royal Commission will focus on.
  • What questions the Royal Commission will ask Victorians about mental health.

Who should attend

YACVic invites young people, youth work students, and workers and services supporting young people, to share your thoughts about how the Royal Commission should work, to get the best results for young Victorians.
