What to expect
YACVic has been supported by the Victorian Government to deliver training sessions in partnership with the Domestic Violence Resource Centre Victoria (DVRCV).
This session of ‘Don't Walk Past’ will run at Berry Street's Richmond office on Thursday 24 October.
This half-day training is tailored for workplaces or individuals that would like to develop their understanding of violence against women, the role workplaces can play in prevention violence against women including bystander action, skills and strategies.
Through this training, participants will gain an evidence based understanding of:

- Strategies for speaking out and challenging practices, attitudes and behaviours that are disrespectful towards women
- The important role of 'bystanders' in creating respectful and equitable work environments
The workshop will run from 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm on Thursday 24 October.

This is an entry-level course and no prior knowledge of bystander approaches or primary prevention practice is necessary.
