What’s the role about?
We are looking for two YACVic Young Members (aged 18–25) to be our very first Young Thinkers in Residence (YTiR). YTiR is a unique and exciting opportunity for you to work on a social or political topic of interest to you with the full support of YACVic.
There are no qualification requirements to apply and we encourage you to propose something you are passionate about.
You’ll research a topic and then will have the freedom to write articles, give presentations, and ultimately produce a discussion paper, research report or video presentation on your topic at the YACVic 2017 conference in Melbourne (18–20 October).
We see the conference as an excellent opportunity for you to be involved in a sector event, potentially engaging with keynote speakers, blogging and presenting your research at the event.
