Youth Referral and Independent Persons Program (YRIPP)

The Youth Referral and Independent Person Program (YRIPP) trains and supports people working as Independent Persons across Victoria.

YRIPP provides up to date training, a state wide IP roster, resources for police and parents and access to a 24hr legal advice line for young people in custody.

YRIPP is a unique partnership between community agencies and the Victoria Police. It is funded by the State Government and is a partnership of the Centre for Multicultural Youth, the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria, Uniting Care and other agencies.
