Youth Disability Advoacy Service (YDAS)

The Youth Disability Advocacy Service (YDAS) is raising voices, expanding choices and creating change for young people with disabilities in Victoria, Australia.

YDAS works alongside young people with disabilities between the ages of 12 and 25 to raise awareness of their rights and to support them to achieve what they want.

They provide one-on-one support through their individual advocacy service and also work on broader social issues affecting young people with disabilities through our systemic advocacy. This broader work is directed by the YDAS steering committee whose membership is made up exclusively of young people with a range of disabilities from across Victoria.

YDAS is a service of the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria (YACVic) and are funded by the Office for Disability.
