The Victorian Rural Youth Services (VRYS) initiative promotes research, training and policy development to support the rural youth sector. It encourages the Victorian community to be more aware of the strengths of young people and the workers who support them in rural areas, and to take further action to address the disadvantages rural communities can face.
The Victorian Youth Mentoring Alliance (VYMA) is the coordinating body for youth mentoring in Victoria. Our vision is for strong, connected Victorian communities where young people have the opportunity to reach their potential through quality mentoring experiences.
The Youth Referral and Independent Person Program (YRIPP) trains and supports people working as Independent Persons across Victoria.
The Youth Participation Practice Network (YPPN) is made up of people from across Victoria who are passionate about the recognition of young people’s social, economic and civil right to participate in the community and in organisational and political structures.
