The Youth Affairs Council Victoria (YACVic) is the peak body and leading policy advocate on young people's issues in Victoria.
Our vision is that young Victorians have their rights upheld and are valued as active participants in their communities.
We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation. Our core funding comes from the Victorian Government's Office for Youth. YACVic is governed by a volunteer board that always includes four young people under the age of 26.
A paid staff administer day-to-day YACVic operations and we offer young members the opportunity to be involved directly and meaningfully our work. Our Policy Advisory Group (PAG) is our main advisory mechanism.
